Clear Vision Sponsorship Scheme
We'd like to invite your support. In order to continue to develop our services to schools - helping teachers present Buddhism, and enabling students to research and discover many of its aspects - we need funds.
Clear Vision needs friends! Spreading the word about Buddhist values is a worthwhile activity, but rarely a money-spinner. With your help, there is so much more we can do.
We'd like to offer more free services for schools and especially to develop the student section of this site to include:
- interactive games and quizzes
- extensive picture library
- greater variety of content and diversity of representation
- opportunities to dialogue with practicing Buddhists
- and much more - in fact, please get in touch with ideas and suggested content,
though we reserve the right to decline of course.
We also want to help the communication of the Dharma by offering our videos for free streaming from this site. Not the DVDs for schools as we cannot afford to lose such revenue, but the talks and documentaries Clear Vision has made over the years for the Buddhist audience. We have begun the process of digitising our videos but there is a long way to go.
Finally we have started work on our photographic archive, again digitising them for posterity and making them more easily available via this website.
How you can help
- donations: whether a one-off gift, or a regular standing order, please indicate whether you are a UK tax-payer as we can make your donation worth another 28% through the gift aid scheme
- sponsor a web-page: your sponsored page would show your name, or your organisation's name (with a short description) on your chosen page with a link to your site. For individuals yearly sponsorship costs £40/page; for organisations £200/page.
- sponsor a Dharma video: help us digitise and stream our videos for the wider Buddhist world to enjoy. Pick your favourite talk or documentary, or just indicate which category - £20 per video. Again you will be credited if you so choose.
- sponsor a scanner: for the photo archive we invite contributions towards high quality scanners - about £1300 in total. Or you could sponsor an external hard drive, so our images can be stored safely - about £80. You will be thanked in the picture section of the site.
- sponsor some images: scanning and preparing images for the archive and website is time-consuming. Help it along by sponsoring five images for £20.
- sponsor our education officer for a year: Munisha is a bargain at only £9,000! She is responsible for everything school-related we do, including writing and directing our latest DVD Buddhist Pilgrimage - worth every penny!
- Sponsor something else! Let us know your ideas.
- Put us in touch with others who you think might like to contribute to our work.
